I Woke up feeling better today but the pain is kicking in due to swelling. Check out the great photos and the nice vent hole burnt into the nail. This nice accident has nixed my surfing this Thanksgiving weekend but also allowed me to write this blog on the progress of a smashed thumb. Let's see what becomes of it.

Question.... Does your crushed thumb hurt worse than your self inflicted rug burn from your wife's birthday party? And, do you have any photos to post of that lovely rug rash?
How do we know, as viewers, that this "crushed thumb" wasn't also self inflicted? Perhaps you just like the pain you experience from rug burns and crushed thumbs and find ways to achieve the injury while making it look like an "accident". Hummmmm.... I wonder.
rug burns would certainly be more interesting a tale then this woe is me crushed thumb. Be sure to post pictures of the thumb sans nail because in about 2 months it will fall off. Oh and be sure to detail where it fell off and if you left it there.
